The Founder
Hi! My name is Remona and I am the Founder and Director of Daring Diva. My dream has always been to start my own fashion business, simply because I struggled first hand to find fashionable clothing in plus sizes for the office or special occasions throughout my youth and early adulthood. Deeply inspired to create a brand that offered curvy women enough options to shop for styles they loved without feeling ostra-sized, I delved into the plus size fashion world in 2015.
The journey took me on an online global hunt for quality clothing and trendy styles in a wide range of sizes from ethical suppliers and manufacturers. It was like riding the mother of all roller coasters! At first I started out cautiously, buying small batches to test product quality and fit, and started doing local markets and shopping centre pop ups to gain feedback, exposure and marketing insight. Eventually Daring Diva became a reality in 2016 with our first store opening in the Whitsundays.
My passion is to help women to feel empowered enough to stand proud and believe they are beautiful, sexy and powerful, and the right outfit can really accomplish that. When you look good and feel comfortable in your outfit, you feel good about yourself and your confidence shines through naturally. Dressing in style has given me the confidence to overcome the social stigma surrounding ideal body types and negative opinions. Having fashion at my fingertips and available in my size means I can always look stylish no matter the occasion and people can't help but compliment me and ask me where I bought the outfit. My deepest wish is for all women to achieve the same positive outcome wearing a Daring Diva outfit.
The Company
As a small Australian owned business located in Far North Queensland, not only do we focus on keeping our customers happy, but our partners as well. At Daring Diva we created multiple platforms which offer an opportunity to start your own fashion business without any financial risk. Through our Affiliate, Reseller and Stockist opportunities we continuously receive a multitude of requests to partner with us. In effect, not only are we inspiring people to be in business for themselves and earn an income from a side hustle, but our partners are also helping us to raise brand awareness and exposure. This has been the back bone of our business and contributed to our success for almost 10 years.

The fashion label Daring Diva was created to encourage women to be bold, confident and strong. We bring our divas sexy and head-turning designs inspired by global fashion trends to give them a sense of effortless beauty and naturally chic style. From outfits for smart casual to elegantly chic occasions our garments are specifically crafted for their daring allure, femininity and wearability, because we know sexy comes in all shapes and sizes.
The Customer
Working with customers daily to ensure their personal comfort, product satisfaction and an enjoyable shopping experience has provided us an opportunity to improve our product and service. You can shop with confidence knowing our garments are available in sizes 8 to 28 and are true to Australian size. They are of the highest quality and craftsmanship and are ethically and responsibly manufactured in sweatshop free environments.
