The Founder
Founder and director of Daring Diva, Remona has always had a dream to start a fashion business. Understanding the struggles first hand to find fashionable clothing for the office or special occasions, started a journey into the plus size fashion world. Deeply inspired to create a brand that offered curvy women enough options to shop for styles they love without feeling ostra-sized, Daring Diva was created.
In her own words:
"I want women to feel empowered enough to stand proud as they are, in this very moment in their life and believe they are beautiful, sexy and powerful, and the right outfit can really accomplish that."
Fashion has really helped me to overcome the social stigma surrounding ideal body types and what people deem is acceptable in their opinion. When you look good, you feel good. Whether I wear a sack or a gorgeous bodycon dress, you can't hide those curves! People will judge you, including family and friends, mine still do, so in the words of Harry Winston, "People will stare, make it worth their while."
The Company
Daring Diva was created in 2015 with one vision in mind, to bring curvy women a fashionable and trendy collection of clothing in their size. We want women to fall in love with our styles and never have to experience the disappointment of “it doesn’t come in my size.”
We are an Australian owned and operated company located in Sydney, offering quality fashion that’s manufactured in the USA and UK in sizes 14-28. We source our clothing, shoes and jewellery from the US and our handbags from the UK. With styles for smart casual to elegantly chic occasions, we bring you the hottest designs and latest globally inspired fashion trends.
